Proverbs 9:10
Why is it considered to be the beginning of wisdom to fear the creator? Well, the answer is actually quite simple. Fear, is a vital part of survival. It tells us when we are in danger, when to take action, and prepares our hearts and minds to do what is right in life or death situations.
You, whether you know it or not, have had life and death laid out before you today. You have the choice to choose life (walk in the ways of our Father), or choose death (walk in the ways of the World).
This life is a spiritual battle, and you are in a war for your soul. Contrary to what society will teach you, the purpose of life, is not to be happy, but to survive. In the Words of our Messiah...
Mark 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
The Fear of our Creator protects you. It is your shield in the midst of battle. It helps you to rationalize, prioritize, and think with a Kingdom Mindset; so that you are not only focused on this life (what you see), but the life to come (what you can't see).
When we choose to serve the Creator, He takes us under His wing of protection, and becomes our Father. A good Father will instill a healthy fear in His children. For example: When there's boiling water on the hot stove, a child who fears the consequences of touching that stove, will not burn themselves by touching it.
Whether we believe it or not in this life, there is hot fire laid up for all who refuse the fear of our Creator. With natural consequences for sin and His righteous judgement, we store up wrath for ourselves on the day of judgement if we refuse to obey His commandments that are for our good and protection.
So you see, our Father does not want us to fear Him because He is a mean dictator demanding to be followed, but because He cares for us and wants what is best for us. He wants to spend eternity with you, in a life much better than this.
So choose life today, fear the Creator, and walk in His ways. He will refresh your soul, and His commandments will lead to salvation in His Messiah, Yahusha.
HalleluYah

Proverbs 19:23
The fear of the Lord (Yahuah) leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.
